Our primary and number one focus is giving practical experience to students by having them actually build out and collaborate on apps over small sprints(e.g. 2-4 weeks). No other org does this or has the infrastructure to support it.

One of the main reasons we'd like to become official, is to provide students with Suitable and other campus involvement credits. We intend to provide them IF we get approved

You can be any major. In fact, our president is technically a business major, but basic familiarity with any programming language is helpful.

Short answer, NO. Our workshops are meant to progressively become more challenging over the semester. If you attend from the beginning, we have a basic intro into Python programming which majority of the workshops will be in and our goal is take meet people where they are an build them up.

We plan to run at the very least 8 workshops over the fall semester, regardless of approval status. Getting approved will help us setup rooms and provide Suitable points
